No Legal Advice, Medical Advice, or Professional Consultation
While our courses may reference statutes, laws, and best practices, nothing contained in our training constitutes formal legal advice. Because laws, departmental policies, and legal interpretations vary by jurisdiction, Officers and Agencies should consult with their legal counsel and/or certified medical and tactical professionals before applying specific tactics or procedures.
Limitation of Liability
By purchasing and participating in our courses, you agree that the NARCOTICS TRAINING INSTITUTE LLC and its instructors shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use, or misuse, of the information provided. Participants assume all risks associated with the application of knowledge, tactics, or techniques learned in our courses.
Agency and Individual Responsibility
Individual Law Enforcement Officers and personnel remain solely responsible for ensuring their actions comply with all local, state, and federal laws, as well as the rules, regulations, and standard operating procedures of their employing Agency. Course completion does not guarantee qualification, certification, or clearance for specific duties unless explicitly authorized by your Agency.
Intellectual Property & Authorized Use
All course materials, including but not limited to text, videos, audio recordings, PDFs, quizzes, and presentations, are the intellectual property of the NARCOTICS TRAINING INSTITUTE LLC. These materials are licensed strictly for the individual purchaser or authorized Agency and may not be reproduced, shared, recorded, or broadcast without express written permission.
User Verification
By registering for our courses, you represent that you are an authorized member of a Law Enforcement Agency, criminal justice entity, or other approved organization. The NARCOTICS TRAINING INSTITUTE LLC reserves the right to refuse service, verify credentials, or terminate access to anyone suspected of unauthorized use or fraudulent enrollment.
Electronic Signature / Certification
By completing this registration and typing your name in the certification box, you swear under penalty of perjury that you are an an authorized member of a Law Enforcement Agency, criminal justice entity, or other approved organization providing authentic credentials subject to verification. Your typed name serves as a legally binding electronic signature with the full weight of a handwritten signature, and any fraudulent entry will result in immediate account termination without refund.
Sales Tax
Applicable sales, use, or similar taxes will be calculated based on the purchaser’s location and the applicable tax laws and rates at the time of purchase. Taxes may be collected through our payment processing or invoicing vendors and may be included in the purchase price or added at checkout or invoicing, as applicable.
Tax-Exempt Organizations
Organizations claiming tax-exempt status must provide valid and current tax-exemption documentation for verification. Tax-exempt status is not automatic and will only be applied after the required documentation has been reviewed and verified. If sales tax was charged before tax-exempt status was verified, we may, where permitted by applicable law, refund the sales tax after verification of valid exemption documentation. Purchasers are responsible for providing accurate information and documentation necessary to establish their tax-exempt status.
Refund Policy
Thank you for purchasing our online courses and educational programs. The NARCOTICS TRAINING INSTITUTE LLC ("we," "us," or "our") want you to have a positive learning experience, and we offer refunds under the terms outlined below.
Refund Eligibility
Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the original purchase date and time. Once this window expires, all sales are final and no refunds will be issued. A refund will only be granted if the user has not accessed, viewed, or downloaded any course content.
To qualify for a refund:
- The request must be submitted within the refund period.
- The student must provide the email address used for purchase and order details.
- The request must be made in good faith and not for the purpose of obtaining course materials without payment.
Course Bundles and Packages
Purchasing a course bundle or multi-class package grants access to a curated curriculum at a discounted rate. Because bundles are sold as a single unified product, the following rules apply:
- Unified Threshold
- Accessing, opening, viewing, or downloading material from any single course within the bundle immediately invalidates refund eligibility for the entire bundle package.
- No Partial or Prorated Refunds
- We do not issue partial refunds for unused portions of a bundle. If you complete Course A but decide not to take Course B, no partial refund will be granted.
- Department Bundle Restrictions
- When an Agency purchases a bundle seat for an Officer, that bundle cannot be split. The assigned Officer must take all courses within that bundle - seats cannot be divided module-by-module among multiple personnel.

Processing Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed through our payment platform and returned to the original payment method used at checkout. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
Upon approval of a refund, access to the applicable course materials may be removed.
Invoice Cancellation Fee
If a purchase order or invoice is cancelled before any assigned Officers have accessed, viewed, or downloaded any course content, a flat 10% cancellation fee will be billed to the Agency to cover administrative costs.
Transaction Fee Deduction
All approved refunds for transactions are subject to a Transaction Fee Deduction. The payment processing fees charged by our financial gateway (typically 3% to 5% of the total purchase price) are non-refundable. This processing fee will be subtracted from your final refund amount.
Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds may not be provided after the refund period has expired or if course content has been accessed, viewed, or downloaded.
Line-of-Duty and Military Exceptions
We recognize the unpredictable nature of Public Safety and Military service. Exceptions to the standard 7-day deadline will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis under the following circumstances:
- Line-of-Duty Exceptions
- Extended medical leave due to an on-duty injury, unexpected shift reassignments, or emergency Agency mobilizations.
- Military Exceptions
- Active-duty deployments, temporary duty assignments (TDY), or sudden activations.
- Resolution
- If an Officer cannot complete the self-paced course due to these events, we will provide a 100% course credit or a full refund, provided the course has not been entirely completed. Official documentation (such as a Department memo or orders) may be requested.
